Photos were taken one summer afternoon just as the park was closing, so we didn’t really get a chance to see and shoot most of the exhibits. I plan to revisit the park now that it’s cooler… and early enough to see more.
Located in Katy, Texas, the homage to China - complete with a miniaturized Forbidden City, a one-third scale army of terra cotta soldiers and several museum exhibits - is the brainchild of Ira Poon, who wanted to establish a place in the United States where children and others could experience a taste of China without traveling overseas.
