Several times a year I take an overall inventory Image of most of my field gear. I actually keep a individual close-up shot of each piece with a log of the Ser#, when acquired. But a few time a year I like to shoot an overall inventory of the main gear (without minor accessories), in case of a theft or fire, just to show the inventory date of all items.
